The Easton Recreation Department offers a variety of recreational programs year-round for community members of all ages. Some of our popular youth programs include Summer Day Camp, swim lessons, Kids’ Yoga, youth sports including soccer, basketball, baseball, T-ball, gymnastics, cheerleading, track and field, and downhill skiing. Other programs include Sneakin’ in Science Classes, outdoor adventure activities, holiday crafts, cooking classes, and a garden program.
Seniors activities include weekly nutrition and exercise classes, holiday gatherings, and monthly field trips in and around Aroostook County and New Brunswick. The adults in the community stay active with our co-ed softball leagues and fitness classes.
Special events and school vacation field trips are always well attended. We offer an Easter Community Breakfast and Egg Hunt, Christmas Gift Making, Winter Carnival, and our annual summer festival, Easton Field Days.
We are always looking for new programs to offer to the community. If you have any interest or special talents and you would like to offer a program through us please contact Hillary Hallett at 207-488-6601. Many of our programs rely on volunteerism such as our sports programs and special events to help make them successful. We appreciate all our volunteers and are always looking for more. If you are interested in helping with any of our programs, please contact us and we would be happy to set you up.
